When I was just seven years old, I fell in love with Disney World. Back then it was just one park, two hotels, and a campground. My family made our annual pilgrimage for many years to come and we had a front row seat to “The World” as we watched it grow and grow. Each time, we made sure we spoke to Cast Members about their experience: what brought them to Disney, what their favorite attraction was, which restaurant was there favorite, and any other nugget of wisdom they would share. This has become a tradition for me many years later. Learning from those who are immersed in the magic every day only builds my knowledge base and it allows me to view and experience the magic in a new way each and every time. My love for all things Disney turned into an obsession as I planned the first visit for my husband and two young daughters. Since my husband had never been to Disney, he didn’t understand what the big deal was. He said, “Let’s do this big, because we’re only doing this once.” Well, by Day 2 of our trip, he was using the phrase, “The next time we do Disney…” and I knew he was hooked too!
